M-Light is a type of acoustic metamaterial designed to control the propagation of sound waves. Its unique structure and properties allow it to tune sound reflection and absorption to improve acoustic environments.

The combination of a folded honeycomb structure and film layers achieves light weight and high rigidity.

By tuning Helmholtz resonance and membrane resonance, it absorbs sound over a wide frequency range with minimal thickness.

The absorbed frequencies can be tuned to suit the application.

M-Light also provides sound insulation that conventional sound-absorbing materials do not have.
