Applying the resin honeycomb molding technology we have developed for automotive interior parts, we created a bed that is light yet strong. It can be assembled without tools, and after use it folds up so it can be used again and again. It keeps people off the cold, dusty floor of an evacuation shelter and gives each person a place to rest.
No tools needed: from opening the box to a finished bed in about 1 minute 45 seconds. (Narration in Japanese)
• Water-resistant Made of resin, it withstands water and humidity. Unlike cardboard beds, it does not lose strength when it gets wet.
• Easy assembly No tools required. It can be set up quickly, even in an emergency.
• Reusable It folds for storage and can be used again for drills or future disasters.
• Lightweight and rigid The resin honeycomb structure combines light weight with resistance to bending.
• Space-saving storage In normal times it folds compactly for storage in a disaster supply warehouse.
• Patent pending A patent has been applied for its original structure.
