QUALITY & ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT

To achieve our quality and environmental objectives, we have obtained third-party certification of our ISO management system.
We are certified to the following standards: ISO 9001 (certified November 2002), IATF 16949 (certified December 2021), and ISO 14001 (certified May 2002).
We place importance on our social role to our customers and local communities, and promote initiatives for quality and the environment.

Fully recognizing the importance of this blessed global environment, we will contribute to the realization of a sustainable society by conducting environmentally harmonious corporate activities.

ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

We obtained certification for our environmental management system (ISO 14001) in 2002, and we will sequentially obtain certification for new and overseas sites.

Initiatives towards carbon neutrality

We are promoting initiatives to achieve carbon neutrality by reducing energy consumption in our corporate activities as much as possible and converting to renewable energy with low carbon dioxide emissions.

LED lighting and energy-saving air conditioning in factories/Development of environmentally friendly products, equipment, and construction methods/Introduction of EV vehicles for company cars and forklifts/Installation of solar power generation panels at factories/Promotion of DX (Digital Transformation)

SOCIAL

Educational support activities

We accept social studies field trips from local elementary and junior high schools, as well as workplace experience programs for high school students. We believe that it is the role of a local company to provide opportunities for students to learn about the region through factory tours, and to spark their interest in manufacturing by observing the movements of workers and machines.

The feedback we receive from students in their written impressions serves as a source of energy for our further growth.

Community-sponsored sports day

We participate in community-organized sports festivals with the aim of promoting local exchange and improving the health of our employees.

Traffic safety awareness activities

As a member of a company involved in the automotive industry, we participate in local traffic safety campaigns. We participated in an event held in 2024 with the aim of “improving traffic safety and manners.” The parade of approximately 500 motorcycles brings us together with the local community and makes us feel a sense of responsibility.

cleanup activities

As a member of the local community, we engage in beautification activities such as litter picking and weeding.

GOVERNANCE

COMPLIANCE

We position compliance as one of the most important themes in our management and are promoting activities to strengthen, raise awareness, and educate our employees on this matter.
We have established a compliance committee within the company and are addressing legal compliance through discussions in meetings and other avenues.
Furthermore, as part of our educational activities, we conduct e-learning and other programs to constantly promote the establishment of a compliance awareness.

WHISTLEBLOWING SYSTEM

Prompted by the revision of the Whistleblower Protection Act, we have established an internal reporting office and built an internal reporting system.
Our purpose is to shed light on various problems that can occur within the company, take prompt measures such as investigation and improvement, focusing on the internal reporting office, and use this as a way to strengthen our company’s compliance.
We are working to appropriately operate the internal reporting system and enhance the sense of security and trust from our stakeholders.

INFORMATION SECURITY

We have implemented radical and effective measures against cyber attacks and information leakage risks, safely managing our information assets, maintaining appropriate information security, and conducting company-wide training along with developing and disseminating a cybersecurity action manual in preparation for any potential threats.
