INTERIOR PARTS
HOOD INSULATOR
This part is installed on the underside of the hood. It has the function of blocking engine noise from transmitting into the cabin or outside the vehicle, concealing the shape of the hood panel and contributing to the premium feel of the engine compartment.
DASH INSULATOR
Installed between the engine compartment and the interior space, it reduces the intrusion of engine noise into the cabin. It protects parts such as brake pipes from the heat emitted from the engine. It plays roles such as [sound insulation], [heat insulation], and [vibration prevention], and is further advancing in higher functionality and weight reduction.
FLOOR CARPET
The molding technology for floor carpets and other interior components is also an essential technology for creating a comfortable living space.

PAD & SPACER
・Pad
A resin foam product installed between the floor panel and the floor carpet. It has a [shock absorption] function and mitigates the impact on the occupant’s feet in the event of a collision, reducing damage.
・Spacer
Placed between the complex panel shape of the vehicle body and the floor carpet, it provides a flat footrest and a comfortable stepping experience. It can also have a [sound absorption and insulation] effect to reduce noise and road noise entering the cabin from the lower part of the vehicle body, and can respond to characteristic requirements depending on the material and shape.

Stylish and functional molded seat backs. This is a new area of product development utilizing Kotobukiya’s interior material skin development capabilities and parts molding technology.
